Lily assisted in painting the front room today, and she spent a good bit of time with me the day before yesterday splatting mud on the wall in the laundry room. I have had to skip trowel the entire room to compensate for the tile glue, wall paper, and missing sheet rock. I am very close to removing all existing sheetrock and rehanging new, but found that mud worked pretty well and Lily really seemed to enjoy mushing it on with me. Which is a great thing because I’m about as useful as a one flappered walrus right now with this flipping thumb.
