Bugz has decided she wants to know about the days of the week.
The manner in which she will ask for the day’s name sometimes leads to very strange responses from Russ and I. As a result of how she frames the question, for a while, she sort of believed us that instead of the typical Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday run, the days were named things like, “brilliance”, “diligence”, “intent”, and” surreptitious”.
In her words, when she wants to know what day of the week it is, and it’s name, “What is the word of the day?”
Now she knows we know and if we don’t respond in either something ending in “day”, or in French or Spanish, she calls us on it. We tried to pull one the other day, convincing her that Sunday was really called surreal, and Thursday was iridescent. When she refused to buy it, but not after seeking definitions, she said we could call the months weird names if we wanted to because those were nit her concern right now, just the days, thanks.
