She Composes, She Sings, She Dances, She Plays Violin, She Finds Intervals

Today, Lils sat down at the keys, asked me to make a sound recording, and proceeded to play improv.
She has also lately discovered she can vocalize with vibrato.
She continues with her enthusiasm and exploration with the violin, as evidenced by the events the other day, and she continues to exhibit interest at the keys.
Today, she was seeking out harmonic intervals, first by ear, then by visual pattern on the keys.  I explained a couple little ideas, hints if you will, and she took it from there.  I have made it a practice from the beginning to not instruct, insist, or expect from her, especially musically.  This is an approach I have to consciously choose, or I will revert to “teaching”, which does not work with Lily… and I”m starting to wonder just how much it works with most kids actually.
Intervals first, then she asked me to record two sequences that she named, “Awakening of Spring”, and “Flower Blossoms”.  She played the black keys predominantly in her compositions.
Now, a couple hours later, she has resumed playing.  She has selected a new sound patch, with strings on the Kronos and a flute on the Yamaha.  She has discovered pitch bend.  It reminds me of the Call to Prayer.  She is focusing on repetitive patterns this time.
