Lils has recently decided she can sew and be like her grandma… she says she’s an awesome sewer. I reply that she is quite the seamstress. She responds, “Huh? Nope, I’m a sewer like my grandma.”
Ok.

So far, I haven’t managed to capture a pic of anything she’s created except this dress (er, gown, per her correction).
She’s also made a shirt, pants, a few other dresses, wings, bat wings for Jace, clothes for her babies, etc… and she was miffed when I insisted I had to be the one sewing up Papa’s jean shorts pocket. She was really bummed. She insisted she could do it, she was a great sewer. I finally resorted to reminding her that it was I who tore them in a game of tug around, so it was I who was to be responsible for repairing.
She relented, but she watched me intently. I’m not exactly the right person to be demonstrating how to properly sew anything… HOWEVER, I DID NOT bend the needle, thank you very much. I sew pretty much like I do everything else, my way, and it works. Just don’t ask me to try to explain to someone else why or how it works.
