Russ wrote Lily a song, which he began before she was born, and concluded right about the time she was 10 months and started walking. He entitled it, “There She Goes”, to describe him watching her as she grew.
Today, Lily wrote a song, which she entitled, “Here She Comes Back… Aww… I Love Her” and it includes her on the harmonica, hand drum, piano (simultaneously, I might add), and then a solo on the recorder, Mama on the piano, and finally, her soloing her violin (except she chose Savannah’s 1/2 size, instead of her 1/16, but handled it very well nonetheless). She then requested Russ record it and put it on a disc, a pink one, please.
I’ll upload the video of the third take (the first being the best, but the third gives the idea) when I get it off Russ’s phone.
The pink discs should arrive tomorrow. 🙂
