Yesterday we endeavored to create a theatre for Lily to direct a few scenes with the Yo Gabba Gabba crew! I think it took me probably 3 hours to get it all together, but once complete, she had 4 lands/scenes and 5 characters.
She instantly started assigning which characters belong in which land. She had them talking with each other (and changed her voice to match the voices of the characters as shown on tv), working together, and signing with each other.
After the “theatre scene”, she got hungry and took a 5 creatures with her to set up on her tray. They helped her eat her sorbet.
This morning (or maybe sometime last night, I’m not certain), she relocated them to the piano and now they sing while she plays. She has a Yo GG choir.
