On another thought, the other day, Lily announced, “I’ve been punished!” Which, given that we don’t use punitive measures in parenting, I was curious what or where she came up with this declaration! So, I asked… She just smiled..
I asked her if she knew what “punished” meant.
“Um, no. What’s it mean… WAIT!!!! I KNOW, I was AMBUSHED!!!”
Ah, now THAT I can understand… Russ was home. So was London.
